To good to be true. Boo.
Here's the pitch. Your a sales person for Central Card Processing, aka Trans Tech Merchant Group. They claim they will set up 5 appoints for you in your local area to sell their services. They claim the appointments will already be made and all you have to do is show the program.
I truly was excited about this until I did the research. First thing I noticed is they are not a BBB accredited company. They do , however, receive a D grade from them. I wasn't too alarmed by this, because when I worked for Dish Network, I new they weren't accredited either. Something about losing a class action lawsuit and it wasn't worth renewing their membership with a bad score. Dish Network is still a solid company. Dish Network has 13,929 complaints against it versus the 43 for Central Card Processing. I did investigate further.
I found some personal histories of peveious sales agent on the web. When it's the same exact complaint from many different sources, something is up. Basically, from what I gathered, people are saying: "The appointments are not set up. The owners don't even know your coming." "They don't pay as much as they let on." "The plan is to get the owner to speak to your team member on the phone. So, they can tell them to listen to you."
In the end. I'm not doing it.
